My Go-To Makeup Products for the Fall

I do not make money from any of the links provided

With fall semester starting recently, I wanted to share my go-to products for school and the fall season.

NYX Blur Screen SPF 30 Blurring Primer

Sunscreen is the only thing on this list that is an absolute necessity and this one is both effective and affordable. This SPF doubles as a primer and is water based so it plays nicely with my other makeup. It thankfully doesn’t leave a white cast or a greasy residue and it doesn’t have a super strong sunscreen smell. I prefer to use this as a primer but it works great as a sunscreen on its own.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the NYX website.

WYN BEAUTY Featuring You Hydrating Skin Enhancing Tint SPF 30

While I typically go for a more medium/full coverage foundation, this is a light but buildable foundation that wears great through the day. This isn’t a surprise considering Serena Williams created her brand for athletes. It does oxidize pretty fast because of the SPF so I would recommend going in-store to find your shade. This foundation is also great for those days when you want to skip out on SPF. I use the shade 315 Curiosity.

You can buy it here from Ulta or here from the WYN BEAUTY website.

WYN BEAUTY Nothing To See Soft Matte Creamy Concealer

This concealer is medium coverage but can be built up to a full coverage look without looking cakey. While it is matte, it easily fits into a dewy or glowy makeup look without looking out of place. For my lighter makeup looks I use the shade 315 Fulfill but for my full glam looks I also use 270 Happen for a brighter undereye.

You can buy it here from Ulta or here from the WYN BEAUTY website.

LYS Beauty Triple Fix Settng Powder

The LYS Beauty setting powder is perfect for any makeup look. It takes away the shine and sets your makeup in place without being overly drying or cakey. It locks your makeup in place while also brightening your under eye. I use the shade Ambition.

You can buy it here from Sephora or here from the LYS Beauty website.

e.l.f. cosmetics Camo Liquid Blush

No matter what shade you use, a little truly goes a long way with this blush. Despite being pigmented, it’s very easy to blend and doesn’t dry down too fast. It lasts all day without the need to be set with a powder blush. I use the shades Pinky Promise and Coming in Hot Pink. During the spring and summer I use Gorg Orange.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the e.l.f. cosmetics website.

NYX Buttermelt Pressed Powder Bronzer

This bronzer is one of the most pigmented bronzers that I’ve tried, both drugstore and high-end. Just like the blushes, a little goes a long way. It’s very easy to blend out and has a very pleasant scent. Unfortunately, the darker shades have a very red undertone and look more like blush or blonzer. I use the shade Do Butta, which fortunately doesn’t have a very strong red undertone.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the NYX website.

e.l.f. cosmetics Brow Lift

I still like the laminated brow look so this brow gel has been my go-to for the past couple of months. Not only is it affordable, but it keeps my brows in place all day long, and they even stay in place when I fall asleep with my makeup on.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the e.l.f. cosmetics website.

NYX Lift & Snatch Brow Tint Pen

As much as I love my brow pencils and brow powders, this is the quickest way to fill in the spare areas of my brows in a natural way. I find that it lasts all day, even through a sweaty workout at the gym so NYX isn’t lying when they say it's waterproof. I use the shade 08 espresso.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the NYX website.

e.l.f. cosmetics Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray

This setting spray really locks your makeup in place while melting it all together. Not only does it give you a very fresh and dewy look, but it also makes your makeup look slightly lived in, which is great if you use a lot of powder in your makeup routine. The mist is extremely fine so you don’t get those huge spots of setting spray on your face, which makes it 10 times better.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the e.l.f. cosmetics website.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Firework Waterproof Mascara

This mascara is not only waterproof but it won’t leave you with raccoon eyes at the end of the day. It comes with a molded brush which I prefer to a wire brush, and I find it really makes my lashes looks longer. I use the shade very black.

You can buy it here from Ulta, or here from Target.

Alamar Cosmetics DesNUDEas Lip Liner

Hands down one of the creamiest yet long lasting lip liners that I’ve ever come across. I’ve been using this lip liner for around 4 years now so it's stood the test of time. It lasts all day and doesn’t even come off while eating. I use the shade Coqueta.

You can buy it here from the Alamar Cosmetics website.

NYX Butter Gloss

Another product that has stood the test of time is the NYX Butter Glosses. These glosses have a decent amount of color pay off without being too opaque. I use almost all of the brown/nude shades but I use Brownie Drip and Spiked Toffee the most.

You can buy it here from Ulta, here from Target or here from the NYX website.
